What Is White Glove Delivery?

White Glove Delivery is a service offered on The Mobility Home that delivers and installs your product for you.

Here's what you can expect when purchasing white glove delivery: 

  • Certified technician arrives at customer's home 
  • Completes installation
  • Carefully explains how to use and maintain the equipment
  • Answers any questions
  • Takes all of the packaging no longer needed

(We never take payment or upsell in your home!)

White Glove Delivery adds an additional 5-7 days to the total delivery time. This service may not be available in all areas, you will be notified within 72 hours if we are unable to provide this service. Unavailability is uncommon and only occurs when the customer is located in a very remote area. If this is the case, then we can find the closest service center you can take your mobility product to.

    How White Glove Delivery Works 

    1. After your order is received, we will immediately contact a local certified technician.
    2. Once the certified technician is confirmed, we send your product to them.
    3. The certified technician will contact you to schedule an appointment that works with both you and the technician to deliver and setup your product. If your in a remote location, white glove delivery may be unavailable to you. If this is the case, then we can find the closest service center you can take your mobility product to.

    Details To Take Note Of

    1. If delivery isn't accepted within 30 days after receiving notice of its availability to schedule an appointment, a storage fee equivalent to 2% of the total order amount per month will be charged to the credit card or gift card used for the purchase. If you fail to accept delivery for 90 days after the notice, we reserve the right to cancel your order and provide a refund, deducting any unpaid storage fees and a 15% service and handling fee.
    2. It is your responsibility to inform us of any special delivery requirements. Any extraordinary measures required for delivery, such as hoisting or window removal, are your responsibility and at your own risk. You are also responsible for covering the associated costs before or at the time of delivery.
    3. Delivery is subject to reasonable and safe access. 
    4. If a scheduled delivery cannot be accepted and a second delivery trip is necessary, or if a scheduled delivery is canceled with less than 48 hours' notice, a minimum redelivery fee of $100.00 will be applicable.
    5. Unfortunately, delivery services fees including white glove delivery and in home installation are non refundable.
